As most of you know, I'm a birder. And here's a logo we re-designed for a prominent birding blog. The mission was to update their look and keep the icon simple enough for use as a Favicon (16x16 pixel graphic)

Here's their logo before (They got a warning from Superman of legal action if they didn't change it):

We gave them a few choices. They had mentioned the idea of using a feather pen idea. We explored that idea but felt there were other options that might suit them better.

And ended up on one derived from the second and third from the bottom of what we showed them.
